Dog Pack Runner

We are looking to hire someone to assist with dog pack walks and pack runs!

The element that really separates Dognify from other behavioral dog practices in Philly is the incorporation of the dog packs. It’s fun, and definitely a sight to see along the Schuykill River Trail! It gives the dogs a sense of purpose, in the same way humans come together and make something bigger than ourselves. Here’s where you step in, and what we’re looking for in you:

Qualities:

• You love dogs (no behavioral training necessary)

• You’re a runner (4 miles, nothing too intense, but you enjoy the habit of it)

• You’ve got early morning hours (6-8:30am Mon, Wed, Fri specifically)

• You’re consistent with communication and your desire to learn

Compensation*:

• $18/hr (typically 6 hours/week).

• It’s a superb way to gain (literal and figurative) hands-on exposure in a local business, to get in motion and outdoors, and find a deeper understanding and appreciation of dog behavior.

* This role is currently an as-needed basis, meaning that the demand is to fill in occasional needs, with the intention of it becoming a permanent fixed position as demand increases.

Dognify is a Philly business specializing in behavioral dog training, founded by Jonathan Macedo in 2022 (CBCC-KA) and managed alongside Liam Taylor. Jonathan does plenty of work with one-on-one clients to help does thrive within this family unit. Dogs in urban environments can often become frustrated if their energetic needs are not met, which is the primary reason for the pack walks and runs!
