City Dogs
Dognify (previously Philadelphia Dog Academy) is led by Jonathan Macedo (b. 1989), a dog behavior specialist living in South Philly.
When he was a teenager, Jonathan’s family moved with their dog from the countryside to the big city. The busy urban environment did not offer the same freedom that the open land provided, and he soon noticed a strong depression overtaking his canine companion. That contrast remained with him and inspired him to found Dognify.
Dognify has helped dozens of dogs in Philly overcome behavioral issues and find joy in living in the city. Throughout the years, Dognify has refined a framework tailored to help owners in dense urban environments find peace and balance for their dogs.
Jonathan is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine – Knowledge Assessed (CBCC–KA) by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
